Resilient Hour w/ Sh. Abdool Hamid – March 13

March 13’s instalment of resilient hour is with Sh. Abdool Hamid. The topic is Hope and Resilience in Da’wah.

Oftentimes we infer that hope and resilience are only related to struggles against oppression and in times of war and conflict. But we have seen that the struggle to share the message of Islam is often met with fierce opposition, ridicule and expulsion.

In the episode we will speak to Sh. Abdool Hamid about the struggle in Da’wah, and how Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) ﷺ maintained hope in Allah and remained resilient amidst all of the ridicule, plots and even leaving his beloved city, Makkah.

We will also discuss the lunar eclipse, and what we can learn from Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) ﷺ about pure belief in Allah and the impermissibility of superstition.
