Assalamu Alaikum,

The IIT Scouts Group provides an exciting program for youth between ages 5 to 17, with a variety of indoor and outdoor games, skill-building activities and other fun events. Scouting aims to foster Social, Physical, Intellectual, Character, Emotional and Spiritual development of youth through a non-formal, hands-on approach to learning.

Our Scouts represented Canada at the largest youth event of the world, the “World Scouts Jamboree” in West Virginia USA. They also represented Canada as Model United Nations (MUN) delegates.

Since 2007, the IIT Scouts group has produced many youth who have been recognized by the “Chief Scout Award”, the “Queens Venturer Award” and the “Duke of Edinburgh International Award”.

Scouting helps young people learn about and respect the environment, their communities and their world.

InshaAllah, we will be starting our 15th year of Scouting at the IIT on September 19th 2021. We hope to conduct in-person outdoor, indoor activities & virtual events in a safe and fun way following COVID-19 safety guidelines. IIT Scouts conduct many exciting activities including Hiking, Camping Trips, Cooking, Canoeing, Community Service Projects, Rock Climbing, Archery, First Aid Training and more.

Please contact IIT Scouts Group at for registration details.

Jazak Allaku Khairan.
