It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of brother Ameer Ahmad Khan (January 17, 1952 – February 21, 2020)
Third child of Rafeek (Ruf Ruf) and Shamshun (Shama) Khan of Cornelia Ida, West Coast Demerara and Alexander Village, Georgetown, Guyana.
Husband of Jean Farah (nee Hardeen/Chin). Father of Aliyah and Afra. Grandfather of Cheyenne, Yesiyah, Yahshua, Nubiyah, and Yahijah.
Brother of the late Razweeyah, Shakeel (and his wife Halima), Kameel (and his wife Zorina), and Khursheed. Uncle of Tahir, Anisah Nafisah, Muneerah Hanaa, and Haadiyah.
Janaazah: Feb. 23, after duhr at the Islamic Foundation Toronto. The family kindly asks for your arrival by 11:30 am
Burial: After janaazah, at Pine Ridge Cemetery
After burial, a gathering of family and friends will be held from 4 – 6pm at the Islamic Institute of Toronto
May Allah accept him in His mercy and grant patience and comfort to his beloved ones at this time of distress.
