Ramadan comes as a guest and leaves all the same. On behalf of the IIT Board, Scholars, and Volunteers, we wish you, your families, relatives, and friends a joyous Eid Mubarak. We pray that Allah accepts our fasting, prayers, dua, and all other virtuous acts throughout the month of Ramadan and that He (SWT) forgives our sins, and honors our with redemption from the fire.
The details of Salaatul Eid are below.
There will be two Eid Salah BOTH AT THE IIT.

First Prayer
- Time: 7:30 AM

Second Prayer
- Time: 9:30 AM
- Led by: Dr. Abdullah Hakim-Quick
Important Obligations
- Fidya and Fitra: It is essential to pay Fidya and Fitra before the Eid prayers. This charitable act purifies your fasting and helps those in need to also enjoy the festivities. Please ensure these are paid promptly, perhaps using available online platforms or through local community centers.
- Fitra – $15/person in household
- Fidya – $15/day one cannot fast
Important Notes
- Please do not park at the Scarborough Convention Centre – parking will be available on the premises and along Neilson.
- Please do not park blocking the North or South Gate of the IIT, nor the fire routes.
- Please respect the volunteers and what they ask you to do.
- Recite the takbiraat from Maghrib Saturday March 29
