Shaykh Junaid A. Bhaiyat completed the memorization of the Holy Qur’an at the age of twelve. He then pursued studies at Darul ‘Uloom Falah-e-Darain in India, specializing in Tajwīd and the Urdu language. Thereafter, he completed the rigorous seven-year Dars-e-Niẓāmī program at Jāmi‘ah Islāmiyyah Abū Bakr, earning multiple asānīd (chains of transmission) and ijāzāt (licenses to teach) in the six canonical Ḥadīth collections and other classical texts.

He went on to obtain a Master’s Degree from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), graduating with highest honors from the Faculty of Islamic Revealed Knowledge, Department of Qur’an and Sunnah Studies. His published thesis offers an in-depth analysis of the 13th-century Ḥadīth work of Imām al-Qurṭubī (may Allah be pleased with him). Shaykh Junaid later studied at the Islamic University of Madinah, benefitting from the tutelage of eminent scholars in Al-Madīnah al-Munawwarah.

Along with his religious work, Shaykh Junaid is an entrepreneur and co-founder of an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) firm currently developing industrial and municipal water treatment plants poised to produce 50 million liters of water daily, serving serving 350,000 people in South America.
