The Islamic Institute of Toronto joins with all Canadians in expressing shock and sadness at the targeted killing of a Muslim family in London, Ontario. This vigil is in solidarity with the family to offer our prayers and support at a time of tremendous loss and grief. We urge you to pray for the family and for peace and security in our country, and to advocate for all levels of government, the police, institutions and civil society to raise awareness and to fight against hate and intolerance.

Requirements for attendance

– bring a prayer rug (or something to sit on)

– bring a bag for shoes

– wear a mask at all times

– social distancing will be in effect

– follow the instructions of volunteers

– if you have any COVID symptoms please stay home
